Welcome!

I am so glad you are here.

Penny is an author and creative entrepreneur who loves storytelling, sewing, creating, and exploring new ideas. Her faith is at the heart of The Watch at Joppa, a story inspired by her desire to explore God’s promises, His Word, and what it means to trust Him when the future is unknown.
Penny gives God the credit for the inspiration behind this story and hopes Miriam’s journey encourages readers to seek God’s Word, hold onto His promises, and remember that they are never alone.
“If you knew what was coming, would you trust God enough to obey Him?”

Because of where I came from, I know firsthand that God can rewrite any story. I feel deeply called to write narratives that don’t just sit on a shelf, but purposefully point readers straight back to Him. Whether exploring biblical prophecy, historical settings, or the quiet movements of grace in our everyday struggles, my goal is always to stir curiosity and deepen faith.

When I am not writing, you can find me studying Word definitions, spending time in prayerful reflection, and keeping watch for the promises He continues to unfold in our generation.
